Channeled: Rising Sign Horoscopes for the Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 14, 2025

Today’s message is regarding the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 12:54 AM MST.

I am going to share a general message about the nature of this eclipse and then I will dive into a more specific prediction for each rising sign.

Please note that if you have planets in any of the mutable signs—that is Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces—especially between 20-27ish degrees, you may experience this lunar eclipse more strongly. Also, the nature of the planets in the mutable signs will alter the nature of this eclipse—for example, if you have Mars at 25 degrees of Virgo, this eclipse will take on more Mars-type characteristics than for someone without Mars in that location. So, as always, these predictions are not one-size fits all—take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

First, a bit about the setup of the eclipse:

This eclipse will take place at 23, almost 24 degrees, of Virgo. In this cycle, the Pisces sun is eclipsing the Virgo Moon energy.

The basic theme of this eclipse is: Close the chapter on your need to control. You are being (unconsciously) driven by fear-based beliefs. Instead, commit to the energies of acceptance, allowance, trust and optimism; in flow we flourish.

The eclipse prominently features Saturn, who is in a one-degree separating opposition with the moon and a one-degree separating conjunction with the sun. Her involvement brings an added energy of tough love saying, “If you don’t let go of unhealthy control, it will come back to bite you.” Saturn was pretty adamant that this was one of the last big opportunities to take advantage of her being in Pisces before she moves into Aries—so, now is the time. It’ll be another 30 years or so before she’s back in Pisces.

The effects of this eclipse will last for about 6 months. In a year or so, you should be able to look back and see a clear theme emerge.

Ok, so here is what came through intuitively from the heart space:

Take notice of patterns related to self-undoing and the need for perfection. Said another way: notice the ways you self sabotage, waiting for something to be perfect before you make an attempt. There is always room for improvement, and there is beauty in that discovery, in that optimization. Virgo has a way of stopping us in our tracks, no matter how clear the path may be ahead. We feel the need to (over)analyze, (over)think, (over)consider to get every last aspect correct, to avoid failure or criticism from ourselves and (often imagined) criticism from others. This tendency can manifest through anxiety or a nagging voice from your past. Now is the perfect time to let that go, to step into peaceful yet brave action. It is time to leap before you look, trusting that the learning and growth will come through the doing and not before—and that the learning, the correction, will be gentle and loving. Trust in the divine orchestration of your life. And instead of anticipating mistakes, look for and focus on successes along the way, no matter how small. You’ve got this!

For a closer look at how this lunar eclipse may unfold in your life, we can look to which whole sign house Virgo occupies in your natal chart, based on your rising sign.

For Aries risings, this eclipse will take place in your 6th house of health and hard labor.

  • I’m getting feelings of anger and impatience. You’re feeling an unwillingness to continue being underpaid, undervalued and overworked. This could be related to work, or a health issue. The results are not matching the effort and you’re done. This is your time to speak up for yourself, to assert healthy boundaries in whatever areas you’ve allowed yourself to be taken advantage of. I am hearing the song, “We’re not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister—listen to that to help inspire your next steps.

For Taurus risings, this eclipse will take place in your 5th house of pleasure, hobbies and children.

  • Here, I am sensing the difficulty you have with feeling joy, pleasure and satisfaction. Perhaps you entertain limiting beliefs about not deserving to feel positive emotions, or maybe you get fixated on how things “should” be, waiting to achieve some level of perfection before allowing positive vibrations in. If you have children, you may have high expectations for them and their lives—notice to what degree these expectations block your ability to enjoy little moments with them. During this eclipse, it’s time to let go of perfection and aim, instead, to see the beauty in chaos. Notice how much can be gained by going with the flow and making decisions for enjoyment’s sake. You deserve all the good vibes.

For Gemini risings, this eclipse will take place in your 4th house of home and family.

  • You have been prioritizing the (perceived) needs of others, specifically your parents or those you live with. I see an image of you trying to move a giant boulder, pushing with your shoulder, then your arms. And it will not budge. What are you trying to get them to do? I hear you say it’s for their own good. And while you may know best, I’m here to tell you that pushing against an immovable energy is a wasteful expenditure of your own energy. There’s beauty in being of service, but when out of balance, you sacrifice your own well-being.Notice the ways you may be giving too much and trying too hard, without results. It’s time to accept that the boulder is not going to move and that, actually, it’s not your job to move it. I see you being done with that effort and moving on to happier endeavors within your control.

For Cancer risings, this eclipse will take place in your 3rd house of day-to-day ritual, routine, and siblings.

  • For once, it’s time to do things inefficiently. While you’re not controlled in every area of life, you do thrive with routine and live according to your mental plan. When things don’t go as expected, you may hold on a little tighter, overplan a little more, anticipate threats more readily, and attempt to control more variables than is realistic. Now is the time to step into trust, remembering that when life inevitably throws you curve balls it is likely for the best. When in alignment with divine orchestration, there are no mistakes and all occurs for your highest good. Let go of the agenda and learn to let the currents of life lead you, if only for the next six months. Give it a try.

For Leo risings, this eclipse takes place in your 2nd house of income, livelihood and worth.

  • What limiting beliefs do you hold around abundance? What do you need to prove to yourself before you believe you’re worth everything you’ve wanted? Do not strangle the creative life out of your career projects and opportunities, needing to reach some level of perfection before you even begin. Now is the time to let your ambitions breathe, to allow them to take shape in their own way. Take your foot off the breaks, and the gas, for that matter, and step into an energy of alignment and flow with abundance and enough-ness. It will all come as it is meant to, with enough trust and consistent alignment.

For Virgo risings, this eclipse takes place in your first house of the self—this is about you, your body and your life.

  • You are pressing the reset button on...you. Through great transition, pain and turmoil, you’ll grow and improve your way of life. Remember that you can endure more than you think and better days are ahead. Believe and feel into your own strength and resilience. You’re being reminded that it’s “always darkest before the dawn” and “this too shall pass.” Allow the changes, and the tears, to wash away the old, to remove what is no longer needed, to purify your energy. Then allow new energies in and allow them to lead the way. Allowing is key—you do not have to do or fix everything yourself—you are so supported by loving energies. All will become clear sooner than you think, if you tune into the heart-aligned frequencies instead of entertaining the mental chatter.

Libra risings will have the eclipse in their 12th house of self-undoing and hidden forces.

  • Libra risings have a complicated relationship with Virgo energy. More so than other rising signs, Libra risings can get caught in the trap—the lie—that perfection is attainable and desirable. When you get fixated on being proper and orderly, you get off track and move into an energy that is counter to your deeper nature. At your core, you are deeply heart centered and loving, but you can be seduced by the power of the mind. During this eclipse, you’re throwing off the shackles of control, knocking your ducks out of their rows, and allowing yourself the room and freedom to love, to be, to simply exist as you are without needing to improve anything. If you choose, you can be in the flow of your own heart, without fearing outcomes, rejection or your own imperfections. Just be, Libra rising, just be.

Ok, Scorpio risings, you will have the eclipse in your 11th house of friends, social groups & society.

  • You have been over-giving to social groups and social commitments. Are you really the only one who can run that school fundraiser? Isn’t it time for someone else to plan the party? You may feel like, if not for you, everything will fall apart—you’re the glue and you’re keeping things together. It’s time for someone else to pick up the slack, and the only way for that to happen is for you to step away. Yes, the group might unravel for a moment, until someone else (or many someones) steps up and fills the hole you’ve been plugging. In the meantime, do things for and by yourself; get lost in a book, go see a movie, take up a new hobby. Don’t focus on productivity—do things just because they’re fun. Imagine that.

For Sagittarius risings, you will have the eclipse in your 10th house of career and public persona.

  • You have been over-serving at work. If you don’t currently have a job in the traditional sense, this message could relate to a career you dream of, a career you used to have, or a career you’re working toward. Regardless, you’ve been funneling a lot of “must do,” “have to do,” and “have to do it this way” energy toward your career. You’re the one to dot every i and cross every t, and if you didn’t, who would? Well, it’s time to find out. Let go of the reins of control and align with the belief that all will work out. The important things that need to get done, will. Why? Because they always do. And if they’re not done your way, they could still be done to a sufficient level. This is not about stopping forward progress, but rather, continuing forward progress with a new, more flexible energy. An enthusiastic energy because all is falling into place, exactly as it’s supposed to.

For Capricorn risings, the eclipse will take place in your 9th house of belief systems, specialized/higher education, and foreign travel.

  • You have a real need to know and understand all perspectives, all beliefs, all facts about your special interests. From this information, you determine what is “right” or even “righteous” living. You believe there is a best way to live, and you’re going to figure out what that is and live accordingly. But, when you hold an ideal too tightly, it can be very painful when the rug is ripped out from under you—and that’s what’s happening right now. If your beliefs are on shaky ground, you’re right where you need to be. Allow the undoing, the unfolding, the releasing, relearning and refining of beliefs—let it go. You’ll be better and more aligned for it in the long run.

For Aquarius rising, the eclipse will take place in your 8th house of shared resources and contractual relationships.

  • You expect a lot from those with whom you share responsibilities. You require others pull their weight and match your energy. You strive for patience, but it can be difficult to understand others’ differing priorities. Their tendency to care less comes across as being careless. Now is the time to focus the energy back on yourself, answering the questions: what is it that I need? How can I show up for my needs? If you’re not feeling seen, in what ways are you not seeing yourself? They are a mirror: you’re waiting for others to show up for you, but really, you’re waiting for YOU to show up for YOU. Now is the time to lay down the honey-do list and refocus your energy on what you can do.

And last but not least, we have Pisces rising, where the eclipse will take place in your 7th house of marriage and one-on-one relationships.

  • There’s a lot of energy around this eclipse for you. It feels potent, deep and tinged with sadness. I am feeling your deep desire to fix things for your partner. Perhaps they are going through a difficult time—it feels like they are stuck, and you can easily see the way out. So, you may be feeling frustration and fed-up-ness (along with a lot of love and care for them.) You so deeply desire their healing. The energies of the eclipse are asking you to let it go, to remember that their path is their path. If you solve the problems for them, they will not receive the learning that their soul desires—and because of this, they will likely reject your help anyway. So, allow them their process, be a witness to it, allow them to bounce ideas off you (if you have the bandwidth). But otherwise, get out into nature, take a walk, and leave their journey to them.
